Student Exchange Programme

Nelson Mandela Peace Fellowship

The C.A.S. School started the Nelson Mandela Peace Fellowship (Student Exchange Programme) with the aim of providing an opportunity for students to interact with, and learn from, people of other cultures and social traditions. To this end, the programme kicked off with an exchange of students with the St. Nicholas International College, Colombo (Sri Lanka). In July 2011, three students, Malika Niazi, Syed Anas Ghazanfar and Haiderali Riaz Lakdawala, went to Germany for a three-week German Language Camp. Their trip was co-sponsored by the German government and the Goethe-Institut as part of the PASCH Network. This programme was initiated in 2009.

The school believes that exchange of students leads to exchange of ideas and appreciation of diverse cultures. We are now working to develop similar programmes with schools in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India.
